“WHAT IS A CORE GROUP LAUNCH?”

A core group launch is when the planter leads his core group in a weekly worship experience.

God created all of us to worship Him. And, it is important for the church planter and core group to be engaged in regular worship experiences while forming their plans for a public launch. Some new churches actually grow to significant numbers during the core group launch.

Yes, it is okay for core group members to invite their unchurched friends to the core group launch and thereafter.

Soft Launch

“SOFT LAUNCH? WHAT IS THAT?”

A soft launch is when the church plant has established a definitive schedule and location, but is not quite ready “pull out all of the stops”.

There are lots of things to do in planting a new church in a community or for a specific people group. In lieu of waiting until all of the details fall in place, a new church may conduct a soft launch to establish a strong presence with her target group and yet have much more to announce at a later time.

Hard Launch

“WHEN IS IT TIME FOR A HARD LAUNCH?”

A new church usually conducts a hard launch after about six to twelve months into the start. It is at this time the new church attempts all venues possible (or affordable) to share with the public of the start-up.
