God's Purpose
::: Peace and Life
God loves you and wants you to experience a peace in your heart today and home in Heaven with Him in eternal life.
"Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ" Romans 5:1
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16
Our Problem
::: Separation
God created us in His own image to have abundant life. He did not make us as robots to automatically love and obey Him, but gave us a will and freedom of choice. We chose to disobey God and go our own willful way. We still make this choice today. This results in separation from God.
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God," Romans 3:23
God's Solution
::: The Cross
Jesus Christ is the only answer to this problem. He died on the cross and rose from the grave, paying the penalty for our sin and bridging the gap between God and man.
"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8
Our Response
::: Receive Jesus Christ
We must trust Jesus Christ and receive Him by Personal invitation.
"Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me." Revelation 3:20
"Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God" John 1:12
"That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9
::: How you can Receive this Good News :::
1. Admit your need (I am a sinner)
2. Be willing to turn from your sins (repent)
3. Believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for you and rose from the grave.
4. Through prayer, invite Jesus to come in and control your life through the Holy Spirit. (receive Him as Lord and Savior)
Now the MOST IMPORTANT question...
Are you ready to invite Jesus Christ into your heart and establish Him as Lord of your life?
READ THIS PRAYER AND SEE IF IT SAYS WHAT YOU WANT TO SAY TO GOD
Dear God, I confess that Jesus is Your Son, and He died on a cross for my sin. I also confess my belief that Jesus rose from the dead on the third day just as the Bible says. I know I have sinned and need forgiveness of my sin. I am willing to turn away from my sins and turn toward Jesus as my Savior and Lord. Thank you for saving me. Amen
Congratulations! If you accept these truths and believe in your heart this prayer is for you, then you just made the most important decision in your life. This is called SALVATION.
God has a plan for you that is beyond any thing you could ever imagine. And, “What’s Next?” after becoming a Christian is God working His plan in your life.
This is called DISCIPLESHIP!
Being a disciple is a lifelong journey. This journey begins where you are now and continues through to the end of your life on this earth – and beyond.
