Since 1996 Lexington Baptist Association has been led by five purpose-driven strategy planning phases initiated by focus questions:

           Phase One: Foundational Phase (Year 1996)

                        Focus Question:

“Are we spiritually healthy?”

 

            Phase Two: Internal Phase (Years 1997-1999)

                        Focus Questions:

1)      “What will the association that is postured to serve the New

Testament church in the 21st century look like?”

2)      “How can Lexington Baptist Association become that kind of

association?”

            Phase Three: External Phase (Years 2000-2003)

                        Focus Question:

“How can Lexington Baptist Association be good stewards of the resources God has blessed us with?”

 

            Phase Four: Eternal Phase (Years 2005-2008)

                        Focus Question:

“How can Lexington Baptist Association best prepare for a significant movement of God?”

            Phase Five: Missional Phase (Year 2009 – present)

                     

 

   Focus Question:

“How can Lexington Baptist Association join God in what He is doing in transforming lives and communities in our world today?”
