Dr. Johnny Rumbough

Director of Missions

Johnny Rumbough serves as the Director of Missions for the Lexington Baptist Association. He is a graduate of Charleston Southern University (Charleston, SC) and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (Fort Worth, TX). 

He is married to Valerie English Rumbough. Valerie is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Financial Planner. She is Chief Operations Officer for the Baptist Foundation of South Carolina. They have two children – (Son) Jason is married to Kelli and they have Micah (daughter), Luka (son) and newborn, Noel (daughter); and (Daughter) Jamie is married to Kenny Kelly. 

He came to Lexington Baptist Association as the DoM in 1996. Prior to LBA, he held two NAMB appointments (Church Extension – Greenville, SC and Church Planter – Tega Cay, SC). He has eleven years in pastorate and associate pastor roles.  

Johnny’s passion is to equip churches and associations with the disciplines to live like 1st century Christians. He is co-founder of “Every Member a Missionary” (lay missionary small group training).

Rev. David Lee

Director of Lay Mobilization

David Lee is a missionary of the North American Mission Board’s Ministry Evangelism Team serving as Director of Lay Mobilization in Lexington Baptist Association in South Carolina.

Born in Hong Kong, he entered the United States in 1972 and became a naturalized citizen in October of 1987. He has both a graduate and undergraduate degree from The University of North Texas in Denton, TX and a Master of Divinity degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY.

Lee served as a church planter intern through the former Home Mission Board in Coca, Florida. He was the founding pastor of the Chinese Baptist Church, Boston, Massachusetts. He served for 13 years on the staff of the South Carolina Baptist Convention as Director of Asian Ministry before serving on the staff of Lexington Baptist Association.

He is married to the former Suzanne Townsend, a native of South Carolina. The couple has two daughters.

Jamie Kelly

Director of Communications and Administration

email Jamie Kelly

Jamie serves as the Director of Communications for the Lexington Baptist Association. She manages the LBA website, the printed Guide Newsletter, office computers and software maintenance, the eGuide, and other Missions events reminder emails. 

She is a native to South Carolina and studied at Anderson University and Midlands Technical College. She is married to Kenny Kelly, who is a native to Fort Worth, Texas, and they currently live in Lexington, SC. Kenny is a Church Planter and they currently planting their third church together in Downtown Columbia! 

Jamie loves being a pastor's wife and serving at the Lexington Baptist Association helping other churches. She invites any emails on helping to improve our website and eGuides!

Kristin Fish

Ministry Assistant

Kristin serves as an administrative assistant for the Lexington Baptist Association. She answers the phones and is the first person people see when they walk in the association which is what she enjoys the most! She loves being able to work while serving the Lord. She is a native of South Carolina and studied at Anderson University and Midlands Technical College. 

Kristin is an active member of Newspring Church Columbia. She is married to Brandon Fish, who is also a native of South Carolina, they are residing in Lexington. She is the daughter of David and Suzanne Lee, and is very fortunate to work in the same office as her father. Kristin is looking forward to serving God and being a follower of Him while she works at the Association.

Ministry Assistant

Kathy serves as a ministry assistant for the Lexington Baptist Association.  She enjoys serving  along with others who love the Lord and want to help others grow in their love and knowledge of the Lord.  

Kathy was born in Arizona and has lived in several states, including Alaska,  thanks to her husband’s career in the Air Force.   She enjoys, hiking, reading and singing on the church praise team.  

Kathy is married to Mark Hardenbrook, who is the pastor at Sardis Baptist Church and they previously planted a church in Kutztown, PA.  The couple has three grown children and 5 grandchildren.
